Our Story
The rental shop was established in 1995 by local entrepreneur and cycling enthusiast Jeff Groman, originally as part of his main bicycle shop. Bike Barn Rentals was born out of a desire to share the joy of biking on Bainbridge Island with locals and visitors alike. To this day our business remains locally owned and operated. In 2022, Bike Barn Rentals was entrusted to lifetime island local Karis Hanson, who has ensured to maintain the original standards and values of the shop. We believe that cycling is more than just a mode of transportation; it's the best way to connect with the world and community around us.
